About NAMI Wood County
NAMI Wood County is a leading self help organization offering events, free educational classes, support groups, and other programs addressing mental health for Bowling Green, Ohio and all surrounding Wood County communities.
NAMI Wood County is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization and is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

October has been a busy month for NAMI Wood County! 🎃 After hosting our annual AfterBurn event, we've hosted multiple presentations, continued our peer led classes and ongoing support groups, and attended community events.
We presented to Northwest Water and Sewer District. We shared information about how to cope with holiday stress and how to help loved ones during this winter season.
We presented to BGSU College of Health and Human's Inter-professional Education Night. Nearly 300 students heard about our services and how to address stigma in their future healthcare professions.
We coordinated our county's Crisis Intervention Team training for the month of October. We graduated 10 officers throughout the county in this de-escalation training. Thank you to all of our community partners who presented and assisted in this county-wide initiative!
