This great event will be held the Bowling Green Country Club: 923 Fairview Avenue, Bowling Green, OH. 9 Hole Shot Gun with teams of 4. It will cost $40 per person- includes golf, cart, and Mexican buffet, or $14 person- for the Mexican buffet only. If you like to golf, eat Mexican food, or both, this is an excellent event for you to attend! Payments for your group must be sent to PO Box 432, Bowling Green, OH 43402 by June 1, 2012.

Its time for the NAMI 2012 Mental Health Conference. The event will take place on Friday, April 13th at BGSU's Levis Commons location in Perrysburg. The conference will last from 9am and run until 3pm. The cost is $10 a person and will include lunch. The Back to the Basics workship will include several presentations on different topics within mental health. Question and answer panels will also take place.

On March 19th, 2012, NAMI Wood County will be hosting out fifth Annual Dinner at Dyers Family Dining in Bowling Green. Dyers is located at 200 Campbill Hill Rd. The theme is "Mental Illness in Sports", and will provide interesting information on professional athletes who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. In addition, a panel of speakers will sharetheir stories of how mental illness had affected their lives.

We welcome all people from Wood County who seek Mental Health Services to join us at our season finale picnic for a night of food and friendship on June 14th from 5-7pm!  There will also be games, such as ping pong, horseshoes, cornhole, and Frisbee.  Please RSVP, 419-352-0626.   

9 Hole Scramble and Mexican Dinner Buffet to follow at the Bowling Green Country Club. $35 per person (includes green fees, cart and dinner). Tee off at 3:30pm. Reservations for only the buffet are also available for $15. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle. RSVP by Wednesday June 1st. Contact the office for more information. 

NAMI Education Night is going to be held on Monday, May 16th at the Simpson Building (1291 Conneaut) in Bowling Green.  The Honorable David Woessner will be speaking on Guardianship.  Come and join us for refresments at 6:30 and listen to Judge Woessner talk about this important issue regarding Wood County residents!
