For over 30 years, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood County has continued to promote education, awareness and advocacy throughout the community.

On the evening of Friday, October 1, 2021, we are hosting our annual AfterBurn event. This year's event will include community organization resources, a "lights in memory" ceremony, merchandise, and a 5K run/walk. For further details, visit our website:

NAMI Wood County is a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization. We are nationally known for providing education, advocacy, and support for persons affected with mental illness. We are partially funded by the Wood County ADAMHS board as well as through many grants, projects, and donations. We rely heavily on volunteerism and donations to further our cause.  A brochure describing our classes and services is attached for your information.
