How did you get into the mental health field?
I got involved in the mental health field through setting up the organization in a accounting program. NAMI Wood County was new and I was asked by a few board members if I could help them work on a budget and reports since they were now receiving funds from the WCADAMHS Board.
What is your favorite part of working at NAMI Wood County?
My favorite part about working at NAMI Wood County is the ability to break away from the bookkeeping/accounting portion and become involved with what NAMI stands for. My job at NAMI consists of all the fiscal duties and being involved with the signature programs by facilitating our support groups and classes. I also am involved with our events that we host for the community.
